Draft for legal review

This page is a working draft written by the product team from how the service is built. A solicitor has not reviewed it, it is not legal advice, and it is not yet in force. Text marked [LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] needs a legal decision. Highlighted text such as [COMPANY NAME] is a placeholder for a fact we have not settled.

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]. Version: draft 0.1. All legal pages.

Who these terms are with

These terms are between [COMPANY NAME] (“we”, “us”), [REGISTERED ADDRESS], and the person or organisation that creates a Two Weeks Cloud account (“you”). If you accept for an organisation, you confirm you can bind it.

[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] Confirm whether consumers (not only businesses) can buy. If they can, consumer-law terms, cancellation rights and plain-language requirements apply.

The service

Two Weeks Cloud is a hosted service for running estimation sessions, with organisations, sign-in options and billing. These terms cover Cloud and this website.

People can join a session with a code and a name, without an account. A host who starts a session is responsible for who they invite.

Accounts and organisations

  • Give accurate details and keep your sign-in credentials secret. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • An organisation’s owners and administrators decide who is a member, who can host sessions and which integrations are connected.
  • Tell us promptly at hello@two-weeks.dev if you think your account has been used without permission.
  • Minimum age and capacity: [MINIMUM AGE POLICY]

Acceptable use

Do not use Cloud to break the law, to attack or probe the service or other people’s systems, to send spam, to upload malware, to overload it, or to try to reach another organisation’s data. Do not connect integrations you are not allowed to use. We may suspend access that puts the service or other customers at risk, and will tell you why where we can.

[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] Add or confirm the acceptable-use list, the suspension process and any fair-use limits.

Plans, trials and payment

The plans, limits and prices are shown on the pricing page. Paid plans are charged per active organisation member. New workspaces may start with a trial as described there. Payments are taken by Stripe; we do not store card details.

Refunds, cancellation and renewal: [REFUND AND CANCELLATION TERMS]. Prices exclude taxes unless stated.

[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] Draft the renewal, price-change, refund, tax and late-payment terms. The pricing page is the source for plan names and numbers; do not duplicate them here.

Your content

You keep ownership of the sessions, tickets, votes and comments you put into Cloud (“your content”). You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to provide the service to you. Where your content includes personal data, the data processing agreement applies. We own the service, its software and its design.

[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] Confirm the licence wording and whether feedback or anonymous aggregate usage data may be used by us.

Availability and support

We work to keep Cloud available, but we do not promise a particular uptime or response time today: [SERVICE LEVEL AND SUPPORT COMMITMENT]. Planned maintenance and incidents will be posted on the status page once it exists. See the security page for what we have and have not done.

Warranties and liability

[WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS]

[LIABILITY CAP AND EXCLUSIONS]

[LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] This section needs to be written by a solicitor. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Cloud and close your organisation at any time. We may end the agreement for serious or repeated breach, or if we stop offering Cloud, with notice where we can. After the agreement ends we delete or return your content as described in the data processing agreement ([END-OF-CONTRACT DELETION WINDOW]).

Self-service organisation export and deletion is planned and not built yet; until then, ask us at hello@two-weeks.dev.

Governing law

These terms are governed by [GOVERNING LAW], and the [COURTS AND JURISDICTION] have jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will tell you about material changes: [CHANGE NOTICE METHOD AND PERIOD].
